Beastly Books is a cozy den for speculative stories and the people who love them. From uplifting banned books to hosting free monthly events for local bookworms, book dragons and authors alike, our bookstore looks forward to introducing you to your new favorite titles.

Beastly Books also proudly houses one of the largest curated collections of rare, signed, and first edition speculative fiction titles in New Mexico and is Santa Fe’s only genre specialty bookstore. Within these pages and on our shelves lies a universe filled with fantasy, sci-fi, banned books, waiting to welcome you home. ABOUT US

Beastly Books is a Santa Fe indie book store featuring a unique collection of autographed and collectible books specializing in Science Fiction and Fantasy. We also carry a mix of local authors, award-winning bestselling authors in addition to merchandise and games from HBO’s Game of Thrones, and bits of Hollywood memorabilia from George R. R. Martin’s history in film & TV.

BOOK CLUB

Join us for Beastly Book Club once a month! Each month we will have a different host and book we will be sinking our teeth into with the chance to talk about it in person at the end of the month! Every month the select title will be 15% OFF that entire month online and in-store.

FAQ

How many signed GRRM copies can I order?

Due to limited stock, while supplies last, we are implementing the following purchasing rules: 

+ Two copies of any available A Song of Ice and Fire title per customer or household at a regular price. If a customer would like to order three copies, a $50 surcharge will be added for every three copies, please select the bulk buy option to purchase more than two copies. 

Is Beastly Books currently accepting online orders? 

Yes! We are fulfilling online orders every day! As long as a book is available in our  warehouse or available in-stock at our store, we will ship it out to you! Please note that we currently send out our orders on WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS.

Orders must be received by 12:00p MST on day TUESDAY or THURSDAY to go out for that shipment day. All orders received after that time will for out the next regularly scheduled shipping day.

NOTE: Holiday Shipping

When ordering during holiday seasons or busy sale periods, please allow for extra shipping time. Our shipping days of WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS during these times. Should a holiday fall on a regular shipping day, your package will go out the following business day.

Is Beastly Books open for curbside pick-up?

We offer curbside pickup Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 am—5:00 pm. Once your order is placed, we will alert you when your order is ready for pick-up within 24 hours!

The health and safety of our booksellers and community is our priority. If you are ill, please wear a mask at all times during pick-up and practice physical distancing.

Returns & Exchanges Policy?

Both in-store and online returns / exchanges are accepted on case by case basis, within 1 week of purchase or delivery, with receipt. Customers are responsible for shipping costs. For refund/ exchange requests, email us at info@beastlybooks.com

Does Beastly Books ship books?

Yes, we ship internationally as well as within the U.S.. We have the following options:

U.S. shipping:

UPS Ground Shipping (3-5 business days from time of shipment). Average shipping costs within the US range from $10-$25 per package.

Beastly Books is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
